threats to wildlife

Despite our joint efforts with domestic peers, research institutions, and nature-loving members of the public to continuously improve conservation strategies, many wild animals still face shrinking habitats and growing threats to their survival and health due to habitat loss, environmental disturbance, extreme climate events, and other factors.

As an ex-situ conservation institution, we are keenly aware of our duty:we must go beyond providing scientific care for zoo animals and extend our professional capabilities to wild conservation:We conduct surveys on the survival status of native species to provide data support for regional wildlife protection; We optimize breeding and pre-release training technologies to support the recovery of endangered species populations; We create immersive ecological education experiences to help more people understand the difficulties facing wildlife and raise public conservation awareness.
