We are always science-based, providing all animals in the park with professional feeding management, medical care and population management to fully safeguard their health and welfare.Meanwhile, our professional experience also supports animal care work in other domestic zoos, helping to raise the overall level of animal welfare.

Animal Nutrition

Animal Nutrition

We have a team of animal nutritionists, a distribution center supervisor, and experienced animal keepers.Animal nutritionists formulate diets that meet the physiological needs of more than 400 animal species in the park.Nutritionists work closely with animal healthcare, exhibit management, breeding and conservation departments to develop customized nutrition plans for each animal, based on species characteristics, growth stage, health status and behavioral needs.

Biological Asset Management Committee

The Biological Assets Management Committee is a professional deliberative body for biological assets, composed of professionals in the biological field.It is responsible for studying major issues related to plant cultivation, animal husbandry, exhibition, breeding, disease prevention, and animal safety; reviewing the company’s annual biological assets account statements; and providing professional guidance for the company’s biological assets management, including business analysis, technical support, and talent reserve.

北京野生动物园新匝道桥投入运行，疏堵保畅成效初显

春节假期，北京野生动物园迎来客流出游高峰，园区新建1.2公里匝道桥投入试运营，直连新建停车楼与地面停车场，有效缓解园区周边多年来节假日道路拥堵难题，让游客入园“最后一公里”实现畅通无阻。

2月8日至3月2日，北京野生动物园2026马年新春活动启幕，市民游客可以参与马年生肖主题特色活动，在三大广场逛年味游园会，还能参观全面升级的东北虎展区、美洲豹展区、鹦鹦雨林馆三大场馆。
